Small Things That Are Oddly Irritating

It’s hard to believe a fine and old establishment like Papa John’s doesn’t know how to slice a pizza. Yes, there is a correct way to slice a pizza, and that’s not it. Don’t they know you’re supposed to slice it in eight equal slices? We can give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that whoever sliced this pizza is a new worker who isn’t yet familiar with the slicing knife.

Yet, this is hard to look at. Perhaps the person who slaughtered this pizza doesn’t belong in the pizza industry. Pizza is something you’re supposed to treat with respect. We’ve said the word ‘pizza’ so many times, we’re starting to develop an appetite for pizza. But we know we’re not going to order it from Papa John’s, just in case this wasn’t a one-time fail.
