Say When
This drive-thru employee shared a similar story as another drive-thru employee from earlier. It goes like this. If the customer asks you to wait a moment while they mentally prepare themselves to order, the decent thing to do would be to inform the employee that you’re ready to order. After all, you told them to wait at the start.

But if you start rattling off your order before you let the employee know you’re ready, they’re going to ignore you with the hatred of a million haters. The reason is petty yet simple: you didn’t say you were ready to order. Treat everyone the same way you wanted to be treated, y’all.
