#23: You Drive a Hard Bargain
Negotiation is an art that some people spend years mastering. However, you can’t learn everything, and sometimes, you either got it or you don’t. This person has got it. We don’t know what this person was selling, but who could say no to a $1000 and a baby crocodile? The crocodile alone must be worth more than $2300, so we’d say this person wouldn’t get a better deal than that.
There’s only one thing we’d like to know: is this a real crocodile? From where we’re standing, it looks like it might be a stuffed doll, in which case, this person stands no chance. If it’s a real croc, we have a follow-up question: how could he give up his baby crocodile that easily? Either way, we certainly didn’t see that coming.
