#14: Straight to the Moon
This next fact brings up a somewhat obscure fact of Catholic canon law. It’s not something that would come up a lot, because it has been a long time since people have been setting sail to discover new lands. However, it wasn’t that long ago that people were “setting sail” to “discover” new celestial bodies.

That’s right, this random fact of canon law, undoubtedly designed for a different time, means that the bishop of Orlando is the bishop of the moon. Man, if I were that guy, I’d put “Bishop of the Moon” on all my business cards, which is probably why they’ve never asked me to be the bishop of Orlando.
