Do you remember the TV Guide? We’re talking about the physical book that would arrive in your mail to tell you about upcoming TV shows, movies, and features. It’s fun vintage ads like this one that make us miss the good old days of analog. This old ad was promoting an upcoming double feature night for two Sherlock Holmes movies.
The fun graphic on the left features an outline of Sherlock’s face and his signature pipe. His entire profile is filled with the phrase,” Watch the original Sherlock Holmes.” Everything about this ad is simple yet effective. When you read the TV Guide, you just wanted the facts.
