Anyone who’s ever shopped for seafood or cuts of meat at a supermarket probably doesn’t have a lot of faith in the employees. For the most part, they’re there to serve you meats without giving you a comprehensive rundown on where the cut originates or what kind of dishes you can use their fish to make.
However, that doesn’t mean they don’t know their cuts. If the products have labels detailing what the fish is, that should be good enough for the shopper. Don’t go into a long-winding speech about different fish at your local supermarket. Nobody cares, least of all the person who’s handing over your fish of choice.
