Questionable Street Names Across the Country

Believe it or not, Pig’s Eye Lake Road is actually a nod to a person named Pierre “Pig’s Eye” Parrent. You’ll definitely want to take this road as it leads to St. Paul’s largest park, Pig’s Eye Lake Park. Minnesota is known for its beautiful land, so be sure to check it out–even if the image of a pig’s eye isn’t exactly appealing.

While we’ve definitely heard of people eating pig’s feet, pig’s eyes are something else altogether. Let’s hope that pig’s eyes aren’t considered a delicacy that is sold on Pig’s Eye Lake Road. The idea of biting into a squishy eyeball is enough to make anyone cringe! We’ll take our dip elsewhere.
