Questionable Street Names Across the Country

If you think these streets in Copiague are named after the famous figure skaters Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding, you would be wrong (but we thought the same thing too, before we learned the story behind the street names). Apparently, they were not named after them at all. A little disappointing, but that’s just another interesting coincidence. Nancy and Tonya should definitely get together and take a photo next to this street sign.

If you want a real laugh though, you totally need to take a look at Tanya Harding’s boxing videos. While we highly commend her for trying and we appreciate anybody with the heart to make the walk to the ring, her boxing performance didn’t come anywhere near her figure skating performance.
