Questionable Street Names Across the Country

Everyone who’s seen Stephen King’s The Shining knows that Red Rum backward spells murder. So what was the person who gave this street sign its name thinking? Suspicious indeed. It’s also just possible that the street was simply named after a famous racehorse. If you’re ever on Red Rum Drive, keep a lookout for tidal waves of blood–just like in The Shining.
