No Trade-Backs!
To be honest, we have no idea why the OP’s mom would even care that he traded away his Sega Game Gear for a Game Boy Pocket. When the Game Gear was first launched, it was praised for its graphics and processing power, but it was no match for the first Nintendo Gameboy, let alone a Gameboy Pocket.
The mom should’ve been proud that he traded up! And the best part is that the Gameboy Pocket had way more games than the Game Gear ever had. All you need is one of the many Pokémon cartridges, and the Gameboy Pocket was already a million times better than the Sega handheld console.
