Body Art, Not Smart
People’s attitudes toward unusual hair colors, piercings, tattoos, and other types of body art have changed over time. In any case, at least in the Western world, society has become more tolerant of odd hair colors, body piercings, tattooing, and other forms of body art. South Korea feels a little differently about tattoos, however. If you go to this nation, remember to hide yours.
Even if your body art is minor, covering it completely would be the most courteous thing. Otherwise, you’ll get a few looks that you may not want. Asian countries have a different view on this kind of self-expression because tattoo art is banned in South Korea and can only be done by certified medical practitioners.
