“No Dogs or Golf”: Odd Rules That Raise Too Many Questions

This oddly specific sign is surreal and fantastical. It reads “no floating” and features a woman and a small child floating above the ground. If humans could float, this is definitely a rule that many people would want to break. Imagine how cool it would be to just float away from all your problems. 

When you take a closer look at this sign, you can quickly figure out that it’s been changed. The artist took a traffic sign featuring the running figures and literally turned its meaning on its head. By rotating the sign to make a diamond, the figures look like they’re taking flight. The artist added the “no floating” text and ground along the bottom to create a whole new meaning.
