Charisma Carpenter
Actress Charisma Carpenter gained prominence in the popular series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where she was a main character from 1997-1999. Before she became an actress, Carpenter worked as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant to pay for her college tuition. That’s where she was discovered by an agent who introduced her to the world of acting.
One of her first acting jobs was a guest role in Baywatch in 1994, and following that role, she received a starring role in the NBC teen drama Malibu Shores. However, to her dismay, the show was canceled after only ten episodes. Carpenter went on to appear in a number of TV series, including Charmed (2004), Veronica Mars (2005–2006), and The Lying Game (2012–2013).
