9-Time All-Defense First Team
Let’s compare Michael Jordan to LeBron James for a bit since that’s where a lot of the NBA GOAT conversation takes place. Michael is objectively the better defender than his LeBron in nearly every way.
He made the All-Defense First Team nine times throughout his tenure in the league, whereas LeBron only made it five times. Michael has three steals titles to his name, while LeBron has zero. The GOAT was 1988’s DPOTY; meanwhile, LeBron has yet to win the title. Let’s not forget that Michael comes from an era where players were tougher, rougher, and took defense seriously. LeBron, please.
