You’re Always in the Wrong
Earlier, we talked about how your teenager is always right in their minds, and anything you say to the contrary makes you wrong. Tell them not to jump off a bridge, and they might actually do it. This stage of raising a child is the most challenging for a number of reasons.
First, not handling the situation correctly can force your kids to act out in terrible ways. Second, you can’t just scream at them or put them on timeout, so your main weapons for restoring order are obsolete. Don’t ask us how to correctly raise teenagers, we’re also still learning!
