Not My Problem
Having a kid always puts you on alert. When you’re outdoors, your calmness stats go from 0 to 100 in the split second you lose sight of your kid. It’s not even safe at home! If your kid calls out in pain, your heart rate triples while you run to check on what sign of trouble caused your child to scream out.

However, if they call for your partner, then your heart rate automatically returns to normal. Your kid wants their mom, so the dad can sit back and continue doing whatever it is they were doing. For all the dads out there, you can take solace in the fact that your kids will call for mom 99% of the time. Sorry, moms.
