Can’t Have Nice Things
Parents, we know that you want to make your house look good and be comforting, but when there’s a kid in the picture, that becomes impossible. Don’t spend money on large-screen TVs, fancy furniture, or exotic knick-knacks. They’ll eventually end up broken into a million pieces.

So, instead of getting the best furniture from a custom maker, get the plastic stuff from IKEA. They’re cheap, durable, and when they break, you won’t cry your eyes out and wish your children were never born. Only after your kid has graduated from college and living halfway across the globe is it safe to splurge on stuff you actually want.
