This turtle attempted to explore the outside world with hard-shelled consequences. We tried to make a pun involving “shell” and “consequences,” but it didn’t work out in our favor. Anyway, this person’s turtle took an exploratory sojourn into the world outside of his tank. “It didn’t end up as well as he’d hoped,” the caption says.

We see a photo of a poor turtle dude lying on his back. Of course, if turtles land on their backs they can’t get up. You know, hard shell and all.
