Nugget’s a godmother? Finally! The pic below shows a mama alpaca and her child along with a chicken named Nugget. Apparently, the mother gave birth the previous day. Nugget the chicken is the designated godmother. Excuse us, we’re not crying. We’re simply cutting onions. Nugget will make for a sublime godmother.

We’re jealous. We thought Nugget would sign on to be our godmother. That’s okay, though. The baby alpaca is pretty darn cute. This family is unexpected but, nonetheless, utterly adorable. We love mixed and found families. It just goes to show that blood or DNA doesn’t necessarily comprise a familial unit.
