Try to ignore the brownish liquid
Brownish liquid creeping down your walls is never a good sign. We have no idea where it comes from, but we’re fairly certain that it shouldn’t be there in the first place. This tenant complained to the landlord, who sent over a professional inspector. Their findings were much worse than anyone could’ve anticipated.

Long story short, the apartment’s cellar needed major renovations. This wasn’t something the inspector could do on his own. After informing the property manager what was up, they responded by ignoring all further requests. It just wasn’t worth the time and money to fix a tiny leak.
