#36: Texas Land and Cattle
Texas Land and Cattle was an American family steakhouse that was part of the same Steakhouse Company empire that Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Sullivan’s, and Del Frisco’s belonged to. As its name entailed, Texas Land and Cattle’s menu consisted of Texan classics, like steaks and bigger steaks.
There used to be over 20 Texas Land and Cattle locations for Texans to choose from. Still, most were forced to close following upper-management and financial issues that resulted in The SteakHouse Company’s declaration of Chapter 11. One Texas Land and Cattle remains in Austin, Texas.
