#33: Dive!
By the early 1990s, Steven Spielberg was one of the most famous directors in Hollywood whom everybody wanted to work with—and we’re not just talking about actors. Jeffrey Katzenberg, Disney Studios’ then-chairman, entered a business venture with Spielberg – a marine-themed restaurant shaped like a bright yellow submarine called Dive!

Dive! opened in 1994, after Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List hit theaters. The initial hype surrounding Spielberg’s new 300-seat restaurant quickly waned, and by 1999, the original branch was, as its name entailed, a dive. It closed in 1999 and was followed a year later by the only other location in Vegas.
