#19: Cloud Club
The Cloud Club was, at one time, the highest lunch club in the world, as it occupied floors 66 through 68 of New York City’s Chrysler building. The Cloud Club opened in 1930 and remained in business for forty-nine years.

The Cloud Club was the “it” place for Texaco executives and members from 180 corporations to gather. At its peak, the Cloud Club had 300 members and a very exclusive reputation. But when Texaco moved its operations out of NYC in the late 1970s, the Cloud Club closed down.
