A Vague Answer Says It All
If you think about a job interview as a two-way street, you will be able to identify red flags fairly quickly. Have an arsenal of questions ready when the potential employer asks if you want to know anything about the job. One good question to ask is, “What do you like about working here?”
That’s the question this person asked during an interview, and the interviewer’s answer was very telling. They responded by talking about how great the location of the job was, not the actual job. This is a red flag because it reveals the interviewer couldn’t immediately think of any positives to say about the actual job. Instead, they had to talk around the job to find something nice to say. Hopefully, our storyteller ran the other way!
