Thank God, Someone Showed Up
It’s always nice to feel appreciated at work, but it’s a bad sign when someone is ecstatic that you even showed up to the interview. If you show up to an interview and the person conducting the meeting is shocked and relieved that you didn’t ghost them, that means it’s probably not a great company to work for.
If people are constantly ghosting the position, it means that it’s either low-paying, stressful, chaotic or all of the above. If a job pays well and the company culture is great, people will be excited to show up for an interview. If they ghost, they’ve found something else that’s way better.
