Titanic
Here comes the big guns, the Titanic. What? Did you really think you were going to get through an entire article about movies, without a mention of Titanic? There are too many emotional scenes in the film to choose from, but I think we are going to go with the one of the Irish family. In an attempt to calm her children after being rejected from the lifeboats, a mother takes her children back to their room and tells them a story until they fall asleep.
As there was never actually a specific bedtime story put into the script, actress Jeanette Goldstein, who plays the Irish mother, did her research and found other Irish actors on the set. Turns out there is an old Irish folklore called Tir Na Nog – The Land of Eternal Youth and Beauty. But the only way to reach Tir Na Nog, is to go underwater. But it still begs the question, wasn’t there enough room for Jack on the board with Rose?
