A Nightmare on Elm Street and Evil Dead 2
Every now and again there is a back and forth between two writers in their films, and we are here for it. Sami Raimi’s The Evil Dead pays tribute to Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes as there is a poster of the film pasted on the wall of Ash’s room. In order to show gratitude, Wes Craven has his main character, Nancy, watch The Evil Dead‘s trailer in his film, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

The Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn is one of those horror films where it is clear that it was birthed in the 80s. And Freddy Krueger’s razor glove is seen hanging off of the toolshed wall! And if that wasn’t cool enough already, the glove is the original one that was used in the actual Nightmare on Elm Street films!
