We Go Hard for Christmas
When Americans love something, they love it to the max. Christmas is by far the biggest holiday in the U.S., and it seems to creep up earlier and earlier every year with commercials, store displays, and holiday music starting as early as September. Even if you’re not religious, the Christmas holiday is still a fun time for many people in the States.
Americans have, of course, added an element of competition to the holiday festivities. Many people go all out with their holiday decorations in front of their houses, and some neighborhoods even have competitions. It’s pretty common for people to visit popular “Candy Cane Lanes” to see a neighborhoods’ light displays. One thing’s for sure: We’re serious about having fun.
