Film Boxer
We’re not talking about boxers, but film boxers. In the (not-so-long) past, video entertainment companies worked with film boxes – small boxes of photographic film. Production houses hired film boxers to collect the empty film boxes to be shipped, stored or reused. Basically, they were handling the most important item of the production houses.
This was a popular method until the early 21st century, when new technologies were available, and put an end to the film boxer’s job. However, while some of the magic of the past is lost, it seems like most of these changes were for the best, don’t you think?
